CALL TO ORDER:
Trustee Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Trustee Scott Leber led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Leber, Miller, Parker, and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap were present at roll call. Officer Pelletier was also present.
MINUTES:
Fiscal Officer Pelletier electronically distributed the minutes before the meeting for approval.
Motion
Mr. Parker moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Miller seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.

ZONING INSPECTOR
Zoning inspector Dunlap sent two letters regarding yard cleanup on Patten Tract.
A flock reader to improve coverage is being considered in Oxford Township.
Zoning Inspector Dunlap approved two shed permits.
ROAD SUPERINTENDENT:
Oxford Township received a $38,000 sign grant for 2026.
Oxford Township is looking to buy a forklift and is exploring options. If any residents know of one for sale, please contact the township.
Two pallets of crack sealer (2400 lbs) were used on Thomas Road.
On October 17th, the final shelter house rental will mark the end of the season, and the portable bathroom will be returned to Prestige Rentals.
The Road Superintendent fixed the mailbox and the timer on the outdoor light.

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE APPROPRIATIONS (THEN AND NOW CERTIFICATE) FOR OXFORD TOWNSHIP
WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code 5705.41(D)(1) provides that if prior certification of funds by the fiscal officer was not obtained before the contract or order involving the expenditure of money was made then the fiscal officer may instead certify; and
WHEREAS, that there was at the time of the making of such contract or order and at the time of the execution of such certificate a sufficient sum appropriated for the purpose of such contract and in the treasury or in process of collection to the credit of an appropriate fund free from any previous encumbrances; and
WHEREAS, Thus, the fiscal officer is certifying that there were appropriations available and funds in the treasury or in the process of collection at the time the contract or order was made (then), and there are still sufficient appropriations and funds in the treasury or in the process of collection at the time the certificate is being issued (now), and
WHEREAS, the amount of the certificate exceeds $3,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Oxford Township Trustees:
SECTION I. It is hereby certified that both at the time of the making Purchase Orders Nos. 111-2025 and 112-2025, the amount of funds required to pay these purchase orders have been appropriated for the purpose of said purchase orders and is in the treasury or in the process of collection to the credit of the funds free from any previous encumbrance.
SECTION II. It is found and determined that all formal proceedings and actions of this Board concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Board, and that all deliberations of this Board and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22, of the Ohio Revised Code.

Mr. Miller motioned to approve the Supplemental Appropriation for $83,964.10 for Road and Bridge, seconded by Mr. Parker. The motion passed after a unanimous vote.

Trustees discuss purchasing a gift card for a resident who graciously removed a fallen tree for Oxford Township and refused compensation.

Mr. Miller motioned to declare the old printer a surplus, and Mr. Parker seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously after a vote.
