CALL TO ORDER:

Trustee Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:

Trustee Scott Leber led the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Trustees Leber, Miller, Parker, and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap were present at roll call. Officer Pelletier was also present.

Fiscal Officer Pelletier electronically distributed the minutes for approval before the meeting.

Mr. Miller moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Parker seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.

Guest and resident Chris Gasteier attended our meeting.

Mr. Gasteier asked about leaf pickup. Trustee Leber explained that Oxford does not have leaf pickup services.

Mr. Gasteier also inquired about zoning regulations for an outbuilding, as he wants to obtain a zoning permit for a temporary garage.

Lastly, Mr. Gasteier asked who is responsible for trees hanging over utility wires.

Mr. Parker told our guest that the utility company is responsible.

ZONING INSPECTOR

Road Superintendent Dunlap received an estimate for a STIHL zero-turn mower for Oxford Township, totaling $5600.00.

The large dead tree on Ransom Road, north of the turnpike on the east side, is dropping big branches.

The transmission cooler lines on the Freightliner need replacement, and Mr. Dunlap is seeking approval for the repairs.

Oxford Township will no longer utilize Gledhill for manufacturing snow plows. Gledhill has also stopped returning Mr. Dunlap’s calls. 

Trustee Leber:

Trustee Leber is taking the F550 truck for a rust preventive undercarriage oil bath.

Trustee Leber attended a meeting about Spectrum lines. Spectrum plans to remove the lines they previously installed due to improper placement. Moving forward, the County Commissioners will oversee all Spectrum permits.

Trustee Parker: reported status of EMS contract with Perkins Township

An invoice from the Groton Fire Department arrived; the check needs to be signed.

COMMUNICATIONS:

No communications from Sheriff Sigsworth.

Mr. Parker motioned to remove a dead tree on Ransom Road with an estimate of $3,800.00 to $3.900, and Mr. Miller seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously after a vote.

Mr. Miller motioned to approve repairing the transmission cooler lines, and Mr. Parker seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously after a vote.

Mr. Parker moved to approve a rust preventive undercarriage oil bath for the F550, and Mr. Miller seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously after a vote.
